[THE PLAYER]

The Recruit is a person in The Isle.

The player is The Recruit.

Understand "you" or "I" as The Recruit.

The description of The Recruit is "A thoroughly average citizen of the planet Puscaat: two arms, two legs, six fingers, six toes, green skin, no hair. Thoroughly average.[paragraph break]You wear the lavender uniform of the Consortium Of Known Occupied Worlds."

[PARTS OF THE RECRUIT]

The arms are part of the Recruit.

The description of the arms is "Like a typical member of your species, you have two arms. They're not interesting."

The legs are part of the Recruit.

The description of the legs is "Like a typical member of your species, you have two legs. They're not interesting."

The fingers are part of the Recruit.

The description of the fingers is "Like a typical member of your species, you have six fingers (three on each hand). They're not interesting."

The toes are part of the Recruit.

The description of the toes is "Like a typical member of your species, you have six toes (three on each foot). They're not interesting."

The skin is part of the Recruit.

The description of the skin is "Two out of three members of your species have green skin much like yours; the remaining third, descendant of a religious sect who once colonized Puscaat's largest moon, have purple skin. It's sometimes a touchy subject back home, but it's hardly relevant here."

Understand "green skin" as the skin.

[UNIFORM]

The player wears a uniform.

Understand "space suit" or "spacesuit" or "armor" or "suit" as the uniform.

The description of the uniform is "A lavender armored space suit with the letters 'C.O.K.O.W.' emblazoned on the left breast."

Instead of taking off the uniform:

say "You'd better not remove the armored space suit; it was designed to protect you."

[HELMET]

The player wears a helmet.

The description of the helmet is "A lavender armored space helmet with a transparent face shield."

Instead of taking off the helmet:

say "You'd better not remove the space helmet; you have no idea if the atmosphere is breathable."

Instead of opening the helmet:

try taking off the helmet instead.

The shield is part of the helmet.

The description of the shield is "A transparent visor covers your face while allowing you to see out of the helmet."

Understand "shield" or "face shield" or "visor" as the shield.
